Dr. Adams has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling (Marriage and Family Therapy), and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology with his area of specialization being in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His Dissertation was on the use of Organizational Emotional Intelligence as a predictor to Organizational Performance.
He has over 29 years of experience within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense (IC/DOD) environment as an intelligence professional as well as a leader and mentor of both military and civilian personnel. He spent over 21 years in the U.S. Army’s Regular Forces and Special Operation Forces during peacetime and multiple combat tours. He was a Senior Intelligence Analyst as a contractor supporting Combat Commands and the Joint Special Operations Command in both domestic and overseas positions for 2 years. He has extensive experience in both the IC/DoD, ranging from direct supervisor to senior-level leadership positions. This experience has created a wealth of information to draw upon in the development, implementation, and measurement of performance oriented Business Plans derived from strategic guidance. He personifies the One-Team approach in helping organizations develop strategies, which includes business and communication plans, aimed at supporting their workforces in effective transformation. Lastly, he has supported multiple IC agencies as an Organizational Performance focused Consultant for over 7 years.

He created strategic change management, communication and training approaches to assist organizations and programs in reaching their objectives. He has proven abilities in collecting and analyzing complex information to develop strategies aimed at both achieving effective transformation and desired results.
He has strong organizational performance and leadership abilities and has extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, and training personnel. He has strong communication skills as well as the ability to visualize issues, determine solutions, and implement decisions.
